Remove Unused Analytics Trackers

When integrating an analytic tracker with DPD, its important not to include duplicate tracker codes on your cart. Duplicate trackers can make your analytics inaccurate. Before you add an analytics tracker, look in the following places to make sure you do not have existing trackers installed on your cart.

Remove Analytics Trackers

There are several places you can insert tracking codes for your cart, and may need to be removed if you are updating or replacing them.

  • Disable any 3rd Party Conversion Tracking Code integrations; this is done through Store Setup > Integrations.
  • Under Store Setup > Preferences, make sure you don't have analytics code in your Tracking HTML setting. 
  • Finally, under Look and Feel > Theme > Edit Theme > Layout, make sure you have not added analytics tracking code there either.
